Volunteer opportunities 

Have you had a volunteer experience in the library and archival field that you would like to share?

Are there any volunteer opportunities that you think other SLAISers might be interested in?

The following organizations have taken on SLAIS student volunteers in the past:

• The Art Gallery of Vancouver
• AIDS Vancouver
• The City of Vancouver Archives
• The Museum of Anthropology
• The Crane Production Unit, located at UBC-Vancouver, is looking for volunteer narrators to volunteer one two hour shift a week. The Unit produces tapes of textbooks for faculty and students who cannot use print. An audition is required, please see their website for further details.
