Book Sale

How to sell:

citation

First make sure that you are logged in by clicking on login on the top right of the screen.  The password is slais. Then click on the class for which you have books to sell below.  When you are on that class page, add your entry to the table provided. Hopefully, a buyer will contact you and the two of you can arrange on a time and place to exchange book for money, or rainbows and candied yams.

After your book is sold, please come back and delete your entry so that people won't continue to contact you about it, and so the wiki doesn't turn into a graveyard of email addresses and broken dreams.

How to buy:

Browse the pages for the classes you are taking and see if anyone is selling the books for those classes (you don't need to login to do this).  Use the contact info provided to contact the seller.

Etiquette: Pretty pretty please do not delete or change entries that are not your own! Accidents do happen, but just try to be careful when you're logged in and in "edit" mode.

Safety:  We suggest using your email address rather than a phone number or something- anyone can see this wiki, the password is just needed to edit the pages.  Some people prefer to use the form "myname AT whatever DOT com," but there is some debate about whether or not that will help you in the spam department anyway.

Other useful sites:

Don't know what books you need? Check the list at the UBC Bookstore. Worse comes to worse, you can also buy your books there!

Sometimes you can find your text books on Abebooks.com.
